About this project
This project designs and implements a web-based resume builder that uses generative AI to draft, rewrite, and tailor CVs for Nigerian graduates. The system takes raw input (work history, skills, NYSC, certifications) and produces ATS-optimised CVs aligned with specific job descriptions. It addresses the high unemployment rate by improving the quality of applications submitted by fresh graduates.

Chapters 1–5 outline
Chapter 1
Introduction: background to AI-powered resume builders, statement of the problem (many Nigerian graduates submit poorly structured CVs that fail ATS screening), aim and objectives, research questions, scope, significance of the study, and definition of terms.
Chapter 2
Literature Review: theoretical framework, review of related works on AI-powered resume builders, gaps in existing studies, and a summary positioning this project.
Chapter 3
Methodology / System Analysis and Design: React + Node.js + a Large Language Model API, with MongoDB for storage; agile methodology. Includes data collection method, system requirements, use-case and architecture diagrams (or population, sample size, and instrument).
Chapter 4
Implementation and Results: a working web app where users sign up, paste a job ad, and receive a tailored CV plus cover letter. Presentation of findings, testing, evaluation, and discussion of results.
